Community Update – Positive Progress and Recent Results |

Dear Residents,
Good news! We’re pleased to share that we’ve had several great results recently, thanks to the valuable feedback and support we’ve received from our community.
Over the past couple of months, we’ve made positive progress towards achieving our local policing objectives. Here’s a brief update on some of our recent activity:
PCs Harris and Atkin were part of a tasking group deployed across the ward during the Autumn Nights initiative. While patrolling The Grove, they encountered a group of individuals found to be in possession of drugs. After a short foot pursuit, all suspects were swiftly detained and arrested. They are now facing charges for possession with intent to supply. PCs Dixon and Harris conducted patrols in the area surrounding Thornbury Park, where they observed several individuals known for drug-related activity. The group was stopped and searched in Crawford Close—although nothing was found on this occasion, the proactive engagement sends a clear message that we are present, vigilant, and taking action to deter offending.
